The Business Development Manager position is responsible for the acquisition of new medium to large corporate clients via outbound phone calling, email marketing campaigns and marketing and networking events. Additional responsibilities include lead generation and management of prospect database. Candidate must have strong phone skills and the ability to prospect for new business by positioning the company to potential clients over the phone. Candidate must also be able to conduct a capabilities presentation meeting with a prospect and position the company in person. A thorough understanding of the Company value proposition is required. Candidate must work well in a very fast paced, goal oriented environment; have strong organizational skills; and must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment. Candidate must have expert knowledge of all Phase 3 products. Position reports to the Sales Manager and or General Manager.
- Minimum 4 year college degree
- 0 to 4 years of sales experience
- Working knowledge of a PC and Microsoft Office software
- Expert phone skills
- Ability to prospect for new business
- 8am – 6pm office hours
- Acquisition of clients - ongoing
- Client presentations - ongoing
- Lead generation and management - ongoing
- Reporting - 5%
$35,000 guaranteed base plus bonuses and commissions.
