Phase 3 Marketing and Communications Restructures Executive Leadership Team

Marketing Services Collective Looks to Further Company Growth through Reorganization


ATLANTA (May 23, 2017) – Phase 3 Marketing and Communications, an end-to-end marketing, PR, creative, digital, print and marketing logistics service provider, has reorganized its executive team to position the company for further growth and acquisitions over the next five years. These changes span across sales and operations; agency services; print and marketing logistics; and purchasing and human resources.


“Over the course of the next five years, our goal is to grow Phase 3 through strategic acquisitions and aggressive organic growth,” said Ken Holsclaw, president of Phase 3 Marketing and Communications. “Restructuring our executive team was a vital part of this strategy, allowing us to streamline our business – from operating each cost center separately, to running as one, cohesive company – we are excited to move Phase 3 forward.”


Jenny Harris, former executive vice president of Atlanta and Charleston, has been appointed to executive vice president, sales and operations. In her new role, she will oversee the sales efforts of the entire company and will also oversee certain operational responsibilities including MediaLink, the P3 System, the development division, led by Greg Faulkner and the IT division, led by Trap Seabrook. Harris has been with Phase 3 since its inception in February 2001. Over the last 16 years, she has been instrumental in building the company and most recently was responsible for the Atlanta and Charleston operations. She has guided Atlanta to year-over-year growth and profitability every year since its inception and has overseen Charleston to profitability in her second full year of managing that office.


Gail Turner, former executive vice president of operations and purchasing, has been appointed to executive vice president, purchasing and human resources. In this new capacity, she will directly oversee human resources, purchasing, recruiting, and employee training for the entire company. Turner has over 20 years of experience in both the graphic design and digital printing industries. She has been with Phase 3 since its inception in February 2001 playing an integral role in the growth of the company. From 2001- 2009, Turner oversaw all aspects of company purchasing including raw materials used in the print process along with the identification, acquisition and financing of all print and finishing equipment. Additionally, she oversaw the day to day operations of the entire print production department of the Atlanta facility.


Jim Cannata, former executive vice president, Charlotte and Nashville, has been appointed to executive vice president, agency services. In his new role, Jim will oversee all agency divisions, including marketing, creative, public relations and digital. Cannata brought 12 years of marketing and advertising experience when he joined Phase 3 in February 2002 as an account manager. He performed those duties until being promoted to Sales Manager in 2006 and then to Director of Sales where, over the next three years, he developed a second sales team alongside Jenny Harris in the Atlanta office. In 2009, Jim was promoted to General Manager and tasked with opening and running the Charlotte office. Since then, Jim has been promoted to Vice President and to Senior Vice President and then in January 2017, was appointed to Executive Vice President.


Troy McGinnis, former senior vice president and general manager of Gigantic Color, has been appointed executive vice president, print and marketing logistics. In this capacity, McGinnis will oversee all of Phase 3’s print facilities. He joined Phase 3 in September 2012 as Senior Vice President/General Manager as a result of Phase 3’s acquisition of Gigantic Color. With close to 25 years of experience in the design and digital printing business, McGinnis is nationally recognized as a leading authority in the printing and installation of grand format graphics. Prior to Phase 3, Troy spent 22 years at Gigantic Color building a small prepress operation into one of the Southwest’s largest large format digital printing facilities.
